Not One Mile presents twelve remarkable songs. Eleven of the twelve are originals of Penny's, covering a range of emotions and experiences that come directly from her life. From breakups to blackberries, from Jung's concept of the shadow self to a true story of a sailing race which became a race for man's life, the songs are challenging, heart-breaking, hilarious and occasionally soothing. David Essig's arrangements and recording artistry are genius. Each of the musicians put heart and soul into their parts and you can tell. The result is an excellent collection of beautiful songs.
